Shows Ma’a Nonu scoring the only try of the game with 15mins to go. Turn the volume up LOUD to hear the crowd comments & general Bledisloe atmosphere. Australia take back the lead again, before Dan Carter kicks a penalty with just 90 seconds left on the clock. The Wallabies make a final push for the line, but cannot prevent NZ All Blacks retaining the Bledisloe Cup. There were 80,228 in the crowd for this game at ANZ Stadium, Olympic Park, Sydney, 22 August 2009. At the end of the vid I’ve added a short clip of the New Zealanders performing their pre-match ‘haka’.

The Alternative Rugby Commentary Highlights (2nd half) - round five of the 2009 Tri Nations takes the Rugby Universe to Sydney where the Bledisloe Battle between the old friendly rivals continues. The return of Carter makes a bit of a difference but the referee still owned the pitch in what was a slightly more entertaining no rucking-breakdown-cheating kick-fest than past weeks games. The Criminals had The Blackness by the balls but they couldn’t cope with the immense pressure from the might of a much improved but still school-boyish attack of Black - and a Nail biting end to round it all off. Tu Meke !

The Alternative Rugby Commentary Highlights (1st half cont’d & 2nd half) - round four of the 2009 Tri Nations in Capetown sees the Wallabies come out firing and then thats about it, the criminals purely outclassed but still giving it a dam good nudge. The World Champs continue to show their true form of dominance through superb pressure at the breakdown, and with the boot of the kicking god Steyn, oh yeah - and a fantastic try from Matfield the scary giant.
